Who we are
Short Lead Studio makes short AI video clips for brands. For this website and any emails you send us, we are the data controller. You can reach us at hello@shortleadstudio.co.uk.
What this website collects
This website has no forms, no cookies, no tracking pixels and no advertising. We don't use analytics that identify you.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, to keep the service secure and working. GitHub handles this under its own privacy statement. We don't receive or use those logs.
Fonts and videos are served from this website itself, so no third party is contacted when you watch the clips.
If you email us
We use your name, email address, company and whatever you write to reply and, if you want, to quote for or deliver work. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in answering business enquiries, or taking steps towards a contract you ask for.
Email is handled by Google Workspace. We keep enquiries that don't become work for up to two years, and client records for six years for tax purposes. We never sell your details or add you to a mailing list without asking.
If we contact you first
We sometimes email businesses whose work suits ours, using contact details they publish for business enquiries. If you'd rather not hear from us, reply and say so and we won't contact you again.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@shortleadstudio.co.uk and we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
